I think it’s important everyone who visits my site gets a sneak peek at some of my past work.  Here is an article I wrote about anti aging, just for display on this website.  (But as usual, people will take the main meat of the message and re-post it elsewhere.  That is just the nature of the Internet.)

Anti Aging Checklist – Things you need to remember in order to age well.

Aging is something many people loathe.  I never worried about aging until I reached age 30 and looked in the mirror.  I felt that at age 30, I reached a serious plateau.  I cried at first, but then when my friends surprised me with a party at my favorite local restaurant and lounge, I was filled with joy.  However, on this special day, the serious look in the mirror led me to write down many things that I felt had changed in my body since my 25th birthday.

I realized I was not as flexible as I used to be.  I realized my eyes started to have some expression lines showing, that needed to be attended to immediately before my face looked like a crows foot!  My muscles were not as defined, and I certainly had lost a step in my jogging routine.  Granted, I had been working instead of being a free spirited college student, but these subtle hints that I was aging told me I needed to address certain things in my lifestyle and change them.  Here is a checklist I made after giving this some serious consideration.

  • Consume foods and beverages with high levels of antioxidants.  No more junk food on a daily basis.  I decided that chips, nachos, and fried food were best left for the weekend.  If I eat healthy from Monday to Friday evening, I feel that is a step in the right direction. Weekends are meant to be enjoyed, and when I don’t have to think about what is going into my body from Friday – Sunday, I enjoy my free time thoroughly.
  • It’s time to get serious about an anti aging regimen.  This meant getting serious about using an eye cream on a daily basis, a wrinkle cream to help smooth out fines lines that were just starting to get involved in my face, and a moisturizer on a daily basis.  I also added a deep peeling once per month in order to clear my face of dead skin cells, which make the skin look discolored and unhealthy when not removed from the skin’s surface.  I later added my favorite anti aging product, the Elite Serum, to my routine and noticed a visible reduction in the appearance of dark circles under my eyes.
  • Exercise was an area of life I felt I had to step up in.  I incorporated a daily walk into my routine.  If I woke up just 30 minutes earlier and walked around my community, I would not lose time in any other activity I had planned for the day.  What is hard about waking up thirty minutes earlier in the grand scheme of things?\
  • Drink more water to promote more energy and rejuvenate the skin.  I typically did not enjoy drinking water due to two factors:  one, the tap water in South Florida contains a high amount of iron, and two, bottled water can get expensive when you drink massive amounts of it.  I solved this buy investing in a water dispenser.  I haven’t looked back since.  Having fresh, cold water at my disposal is a luxury in life I appreciate.

Here we are, years later, and this checklist still sits perched on my desk for me to remember.  Not a day goes by that I am at home and don’t take a look at this checklist.  I can say I have more energy, better skin, and a better outlook on life after incorporating the main points of my checklist into my daily routine.  May this serve as a guideline to anyone out there reaching an aging plateau who is looking for direction.

Many of my articles and findings on skin care have been well-published by the media and re-posted on other general health sites.  I have years in the skin care industry and have learned first hand from some of the most sought after dermatology professionals in the business.  Through my years of research, study, trials, and errors, I have found three anti-aging creams that I suggest everyone incorporates into their anti-aging routine.   Using these three creams will not only make you appear younger, but give you powerful ingredients that work at the cellular level to help rejuvenate the skin.

Do you ever look in the mirror and see your age showing up around your eyes, and on your cheeks?  Chances are you do, and you could benefit from taking care of this look by addressing those issues with the best anti aging products out there.  There are several clinically advanced products you can use in order to help yourself look your best, and this article will go over a few of them in detail.

First off, you need to use an under eye serum, or cream, to address the dark circles under your eyes.  Dark circles make us look older, tired, and even uninterested in what is going on around us.  Using a serum such as Elite Serum, the award winning eye serum, can help make us look more rested and healthy.  The eyes are the focal point of the body, so why not address them appropriately?  An eye serum can help with this with daily use over a 30-60 day period.

Lastly, one area most people overlook is the neck and chest area.  A neck cream can help tighten and firm the skin around the neck and under the jaw.  Think about it, if you spend thousands on your face to make yourself look younger, why not help your neck do the same? If you are someone who wears v-neck shirts, or goes to the pool, the moment you expose your neck area is the moment you really show your true age.  Do not overlook this area in skin care, it’s very important.

Those are just three products you can incorporate into your daily anti aging regimen that you can use to look your best.  If you combine those with use of a sunblock, you are well on your way to healthy skin!  Don’t forget that the sun can do significant damage to your skin, and without proper sunblock, you open yourself up to getting wrinkles after long-term exposure to the sun.
